Saria - Color

Well then, finally finished her. Behold my absolute lack of productivity.

Okay then, the next part is all story so you can just skip ahead if it's boring. Story-wise, Saria is Ralter's sister. Her "change" came much later then Ralter's, so when her dragon DNA took over she was about the same age as Ralter. Of course, her husband at the time didn't exactly like to think that his spouse was part alien, and soon divorced the heart-broken Saria. Ever since she has served with Ralter aboard the Utopia. Being the younger sister, at first Ralter wanted to keep her away from front-line positions, but they both soon realized that such ideas were fanciful. Each and every neo-dragon was needed in the fight to save Earth. Finally admiting that she would be in danger no matter what, Ralter let her take the tests to become a flight officer. She passed with nearly as high of scores as Ralter himself. And since Ralter was now restricted to command duties in the fleet, Saria would become the best star fighter in the fleet. Despiter her competence, she has turned down offers for command. For now she serves as the navigation officer for the Burning Claw squadron. The same elite squadron Ralter first founded when he had enough Neo-Dragons. Here we can see her plotting out a course for a mission her squadron will be undertaking the next day.

Okay, now for the art. I tried a few different things here. One is colored lines, although I used such small lines it's hard to tell. Another is a lot more layers then I usually use. And the last would be the way I did the hair. Overall I'm quite pleased with the effect. Well, for now anyways. A month from now I think it'll look like poo of course.
